Dhanyadhan Project

Since the time the Dhanya Dhan project was announced by M.W. Bro. Arun Chintopanth, M.W. The Grand Master of India, the brethren of Lodge Fellowship had made it a practice in every regular meeting of the lodge to collect an amount from the brethren towards contribution to Dhanya Dhan apart from the regular collection of Alms towards benevolence. The amount thus collected is then used to purchase the grains etc. to be distributed amongst the needy.

During the visit of M. W. The Grand Master on 4th October2006, due to paucity of time the distribution of grains towards Dhanya Dhan could not take place however the W.M. & Brethren of Lodge Fellowship had invited the trustees of Sanjeevani Trust through whom we had been distributing the grains to the poor & needy and the W.M., W.Bro. Ratan Vadvan requested M.W. The Grand Master to present the amount collected by the brethren of Lodge fellowship to the trustees of Sanjeevani Trust to be utilized for the distribution of grains to the needy.

On this occasion, M.W. The Grand Master mentioned that the idea of Dhanya Dhan was mooted by Mrs. Chintopanth, which was applauded by the brethren present on the occasion.
