Medical check-up at Blind Girls School
On 8 th february 2004 Lodge Fellowship under the stewardship of W.Bro. Mukesh Shah took up the health check-up project at blind girls school, memnagar, ahmedabad in the presence of R.W. The Regional Grand Master, R.W. Bro. Govind Lal Shahu and W.Bro. P.J. Pandya, A.R.G.M.

225 visually impaired girls were examined, blood samples taken and most of them were found to have very low haemoglobin levels. Necessary medicines were given to all the girls and on this occasion a weigh scale and iron folic acid syrup globac bottles were handed over by R.W. Bro. Govind Lal Shahu on behalf of Lodge Fellowship to the principal and warden of the school..

W.Bro. Dr. Iqbal Hakim and Bro. Dr. Ravindra Mittal had examined the visually impaired girls and the medicines were arranged by W.Bro. Ganesh Nayak of Zydus Cadilla. On this occasion it was decided to conduct a 45 days yoga training camp at the blind girls school.

R.W. The R.G.M. after taking a round of the campus appreciated the efforts of the brethren of lodge fellowship in conducting such regular health check-up projects.

Yoga training camp at BlindGirlsSchool
Immediately after the health check-up program Lodge Fellowship organized the yoga training camp for 45 days for the visually impaired girls. This camp was conducted by Mrs. Nandini Rawal - yoga and reiki master, trained 225 visually impaired girls in a very systematic manner so that they could overcome their psychosomatic problems. On the day of the final session the principal of blind girls school thanked the brethren of lodge Fellowship for having designed such a unique program.

During April a follow-up of health check up was again organized at blind girls school and blood samples taken and analysed. It was heartening to know that the haemoglobin levels of the girls had come to normal levels. Haemoglobin medicines were again donated to the inmates of the hostel.

Universal brotherhood day (2004)
Universal brotherhood day was celebrated by the brethren of Lodge Fellowship in an unique manner. All the brethren of Lodge Fellowship assembled at blind girls school early morning at 8 am wearing the universal brotherhood day pins and on this occasion donated medicines to the 225 visually impaired girl inmates. Fruits and sweets were also distributed amongst them who put up a music program on this occasion, which was appreciated by the brethren.

On this day keeping up the spirit of brotherhood W.Bro. Dr. Bipin Naik conducted 5 eye operations for the needy free of cost and W.Bro. Dr. Iqbal Hakim treated his patients free of cost. We appreciate their gesture.
